Another Snow Day...

If I didn't know any better I would think we were back in Minnesota. It has been a cold and snowy winter this year but I am not complaining - I love it!!I have a couple more that I will upload a little later...we are off to Monkey Joes!

It's Beginning To Look...

a lot like Minnesota!! These are a little old. They were from the middle of January when we had a big snow/thaw/refreeze/icy couple of days here in Georgia. We couldn't get the Buick out of the driveway for 4 days and school was canceled for me and Awnley!! We are living with a bunch of wimps down here. It is probably for the better though...there was a 17 car pile up on the freeway from all the bad drivers :)Please take note of the footsteps. The ones coming down the driveway are mine from coming home from work. The ones going up are Ryan's. Seems to me that someone has forgot how to deal with snow and couldn't make it up the whole way...Pepper is a total Georgian.

Can't even go to the bathroom...

without this kid getting into something!! She is fast and if she is being quiet you know she is getting into trouble or filling her pants. She has this really weird fascination with Peppers food and toys - as you can see she has seemed to find both. What doesn't kill her only makes her stronger, Right??

What we have been busy doing--

we have been getting a lot of plants on clearance at Lowes so we have started to clean up our front yard a bit. These were all a buck a piece, can't beat that!! We also planted some bushes in front of the windows but we still have to get wood chips for there. Pepper is now in the back yard with a really long traveling leash and she loves it. It will also make Ryan cut the backyard more since Peps is back there.

Better Late Than Never...

So this is Awnleys new furniture. We still have to move her mirror up and I have a couple more pictures to hang up as well. Eventually we plan on getting rid of the little dresser because there is nothing in it and replacing it with a little table. Under her bed she has drawers and a trundle.

Time to Read!!

This is Awnley's favorite thing to do lately. She loves reading books to us, Ellie and even Pepper! Hopefully soon she will learn what all those words sound like instead of making up her own story.

They Grow So Fast :'(

It's been almost 2 years since we have got Pepper. She sure has changed. That poor lobster has seen better days as well.She is next on my list for haircuts - better watch out Pepps!!

Darn Pepper...

Got a little lost today. Well not really lost, just hanging out with her friends in the next neighborhood over (right behind our house). I sat out on the back porch yelling for her for about an hour. Then I loaded the kids into the car and went searching around our neighborhood. I found the little brown chihuahua that she usually hangs out with, but no Pepper. So finally I decided to go over to Wyngate and see if I could see her over there. I drove past the house that backs up to ours and as I was leaving a lady comes out yelling after me as I am driving down the street. Sure enough, she had Pepper. She had fed her breakfast, took her for a walk around her neighborhood trying to find her owners and even to the vet to see if she is microchipped (which we should probably do). Pepper had it so good over there, that she is probably waiting for her next escape to head back over! At least she is home now. Darn dog.

Sleeping Beauties

While I was getting all of my coupons together to do a little shopping tonight things started to get pretty quiet.

So I turn around and see everyone fell asleep on me. Guess this couponing wears them out to much - not me!!


I went to Walgreens and Publix tonight.

My total savings at Walgreens was $33.97 and total before tax was $2.96 and out of pocket for me was $5.00 and I got a $6.00 coupon. This is really great because I got 2 packs of my expensive deodorant (8.99 a piece) and I am usually not very brand specific because it is hard to be when using coupons but this is one thing that I refuse to switch.
At Publix my before coupon total was 64.06 and total out of pocket was $12.40.

Go, Go, Speed Racer

We decided to take a walk yesterday since the weather was nice and Awnley wanted to ride her motorcycle.
She's so fast I can barely catch a picture of her.

We also have Pepper the wannabe snowdog, pulling Ellie in her stroller.

Gosh I love nice weather.
